Luminary is an online candle brand that sells naturally-based soy candles. Each candle is hand-mixed and poured.
Think
In recent months I’ve been seeing more and more candle ads on my Instagram feed. Candles have become a popular decor item as brands look to present new scents and ways to do candle packaging. I wanted to make a candle company that would give a homey, yet stylish feel.
Design
Full brand identity and digital packaging mockups were created. A variety of scents were created to show the brand’s range. Since Luminary is an online brand, website layouts were created to showcase what the candles would look like online.
Make
The branding came together to present a sophisticated and modern brand. The logotype paired with the muted color palette and the matte glass of the candles further enhance the soft, relaxing feeling. The competition research presented in the creative brief showcases Luminary’s position among competitors and how the brand offers a new experience for buyers.
